Tayler was a gymnast for the first 18 years of her life but once that ended after high school, she was searching for some other competitive sport that used her strength and flexibility obtained from the years of gymnastics and also challenged her every day. The moment she completed her first CrossFit WOD, she was hooked.
CrossFit has helped Tayler realize that it is more important, healthy, and way cooler to be strong rather than skinny and pushed her to strive for biceps and a six pack rather than thigh gaps and visible ribs. In addition to this realization, Tayler’s favorite thing about CrossFit is that it makes everyone realize that they are stronger than they ever thought they were and that their bodies can do things they never thought were possible.
Since graduating from the University of St. Thomas in 2018 with a major in Spanish and minor in Exercise Science, Tayler has been passionate about learning how the human body moves, heals, and pushes towards and beyond our physical and mental limits. She found that CrossFit is the perfect field to explore health and human performance as well as apply her exercise science education. Tayler strives to share her knowledge, learn from others, and get people to use the word “fun” and “workout” in the same sentence.
Outside of CrossFit, Tayler enjoys drawing and painting, designing tattoos, dancing, being in nature, eating good food with good people, biking around the lakes, and soaking in the sun.
